Package Summary: 6 Luminaires with a 1000w PSMH lamp and quad tap PSMH Ballast, 6 4”square stock poles, and 6 adjustable luminaire mounts/connectors.

Pulse Start Metal Halide (PSMH): This package is the best bargain as it pairs an extremely high lumen output with a very affordable price.  The lifetime of PSMH lamps are long lasting with an average of 20,000 hours.  This fixture will maintain its lumen output measurements quite consistently throughout it’s life.  Very infrequently do these lamps need to be replaced before 20,000 hours even in harsh temperatures, making these fixtures a perfect option for lighting your outdoor tennis court.

Layout:  Our recommended layout for a single tennis court begins with a pair of poles centered on the net.  A second set of poles is located 35' to the left and right of the center poles.  By installing the fixtures courtside on 20’ poles achieving an approximate height of 22’, the light source does not interfere with the player’s normal line of vision while providing superior illumination of both the court and the tennis ball. Each pole supports one fixture, totaling six fixtures and six poles altogether.

Lamp Type: Access Fixtures uses 1000w pulse start metal halide for superior lumen output on an initial basis and over the continued life of the lamp.

Luminaire: The luminaire is fitted with a type V reflector designed to maximize light output onto the court area.  This reduces light trespass as well as minimizing glare which can adversely affect the players’ performance.  A tempered glass lens is used for safety.  Access Fixtures luminaires are have a premium finish super durable chromate conversion coating and textured bronze finish, over die-cast aluminum housings.
