Light Emitting Diode (LED): This package is extremely environmentally friendly with astounding lumen per watt measurements and unmatched fixture efficiency.  The quality and color of the light this lamp emits is superior.  This lamp choice allows for the option to have a dimmable lighting system.  LED’s have a very long lifespan of 50,000 hours or greater.  This package is optimum for meeting low watt usage regulations.

Layout: Our recommended layout for a single tennis court is to place four poles, evenly spaced, along each side of the court.  By installing the fixtures courtside on 20’ poles achieving an approximate height of 22’, the light source does not interfere with the player’s normal line of vision while providing superior illumination of both the court and the tennis ball. Each pole supports four fixtures totaling eight poles and thirty-two fixtures altogether.

Lamp Type: The best LED tennis court lighting is Compact LG Innotek module with IP67 rating for outdoor use.  This new technology outputs extremely high lumens per watt measurements and is the most efficient lighting package offered.  A high percentage of the lumens emitted are visible to the human eye, unlike high pressure sodium lighting, allowing this product to operate on remarkably low watts and still produce sufficient light.

Luminaire: This luminaire is specially engineered extruded aluminum housing and die-cast end caps.  This model employs superior integral heat sinks to reduce operating temperatures, which prolongs the life of the product.  These luminaires are protected with chromate conversion coating and UV-resistant DuPont powdercoat paint for unbeatable durability.
