Light Emitting Plasma (LEP): This new lighting technology achieves high light levels and very high efficiency.    This package is perfect for reducing total watt usages. LEP is leading technology in a cost effective package.

Layout: Our recommended layout for a single, competition level, tennis court is to place four poles, evenly spaced, along each side of the court.  By installing the fixtures courtside on 20’ poles achieving an approximate height of 22’, the light source does not interfere with the player’s normal line of vision while providing superior illumination of both the court and the tennis ball. Each pole supports four fixtures totaling eight poles and thirty-two fixtures altogether.

Lamp Type: LEP is a leading high efficiency lighting technology.  With lamp efficiency comparable to LED and higher watt usages LEP produces twice the lumen outputs with fewer fixtures.  LEP is the most affordable high efficiency tennis court package available today.

Luminaire: The Access Fixtures AFP400 LEP luminaire was specifically designed for LEP to provide decades of optimum service.   The door/lens frame is one-piece die-cast, low copper content aluminum for maximum resistance to outdoor elements.  The lens is made of clear tempered high-transmission soda-lime glass.  The finish is bronze colored with UV-resistant marine grade polyester powder coating.
