Worcester, MA — (SBWIRE) — 08/02/2013 — Access Fixtures enhanced its extensive line of architectural LED wall packs. The high style LED wall packs which feature up-down lighting are updated to include more LED configurations. Also, prices have been reduced. The new configurations facilitate enhanced versatility. Architects and lighting designers can now specify how much light is emitted in both up and down directions, the beam spread of the light, and the Kelvin of the light. This facilitates the enhancement of building exteriors at night while still being ideal for safely and efficiently lighting outdoor commercial and hospitality locations.

“The new configurations for the architectural LED wall packs feature up-down lighting and enables architects to better control the amount of light emitted up and down, the spread of the light beam, and the color of the light” said Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild. He continued, “When you add in that the LED architectural wall packs are available custom finished in any RAL color, the design possibilities are unlimited.”

Access Fixtures lighting specialists can help architects specify exactly what they need for their latest projects. Employing LED modules from Xicato, the LED light source is LM80 at 90,000 hours, meaning it maintains an estimated 80% of its initial light output after 90,000 hours of use. The LED versions of the wall packs reduce energy use by as much as 80% as compared to the metal halide versions, and reduces maintenance too. The updated LED configurations are available on Access Fixtures LED half bay wall packs and LED oval cylinder wall packs.
