After a great year in 2014 and a busy spring season, Access Fixtures has grown their team of specialists with the addition of Jason Permatteo. Jason will be assuming the role of Merchandising Manager and customer service representative for the Access team.

Jason comes to Access Fixtures with an extensive background in customer support going back more than ten years. He has had experience in every aspect of the customer service supply chain including sales support, inside/outside sales, and more. His transition to the Merchandising Management position stems from a desire to focus on the operational side of the sales chain to ensure customer success.

“The primary focus for where the company needs to be as it’s growing is on that repeat business. I’d like to brand the job as a customer success role,” said Jason. “That’s what I’d like [my position] to be, the major emphasis of it being customer service.”

Jason’s experience with smaller companies in the growth stages of development and with larger, more stratified organizations will be beneficial to Access Fixtures as they continue to build their business. His ability to observe trends in the raw data of operational management and identify opportunities to help customers achieve their goals will be a great addition to the sales team. Being in close contact with Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild, gives him access to logistical and lighting knowledge that will enable him to provide accurate information as quickly as possible.
Jason was drawn to the open and friendly environment of the Access Fixtures space. “It’s very cool and industrial. I liked the environment and Steve seemed like a great guy, after just five minutes of talking to him.” Jason is enthusiastic about serving the customers of Access Fixtures and looks forward to continuing education opportunities in lighting technology.
