Access Fixtures updated its LED flood lights with the latest RTL series powered by Toshiba LED technology. Featuring 25% greater light output as compared to previous LED flood lights, the new products further advance the efficiency and quality of Access Fixtures LED luminaire offering. The new LED products are ideal for outdoor lighting applications, such as tennis court lighting, parking lot lighting, and roadway lighting. Read more about the LED update and thoughts from CEO of Access Fixtures, Steven Rothschild, in the recent press release.
The rapid progression of LED lighting in Access Fixtures’ products demonstrates Haitz’s Law. Every decade, the cost per lumen (unit of useful light emitted) falls by a factor of 10 while the amount of light generated per LED package increases by a factor of 20. Because of this, Access Fixtures is constantly advancing its quality and efficiency while reducing prices.
The new RTL series has a lumen maintenance rating of LM85 at 100,000 hours, meaning it maintains 85% of its initial light output after 100,000 hours of use. Compared to a similar 100w HID luminaire this advanced LED luminaire consumes 50% less energy while producing the same amount of light. Qualified by the DesignLights Consortium (DLC), the LED is eligible for most demand supply management rebates.
