We’ll be attending the upcoming Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) National Convention and Electric Expo 2014 in Baltimore October 22-25. At the convention, Access Fixtures will debut its latest LED luminaire, a groundbreaking 1,500 watt metal halide equivalent that can be used for illuminating sports facilities as well as large outdoor commercial and industrial areas. Other luminaires shown include a vandal resistant LED wall pack, LED garage lighters, LED Bollard lights, LED wall packs, and LED landscape lighting.

The new 1,500 metal halide equivalent LED area light/sports lighter will be illuminated and on display in the Access Fixtures booth. The luminaire produces an astounding 140 lumens per watt and outputs 71,782 lumens. Using only 567 watts of energy, this area light/sports lighter reduces energy use by 64% as compared to a traditional 1500w PSMH. Since 1,500-watt metal halide lamps last only 3,000 hours, they require frequent re-lamping. The new LED area light/sports lighter is rated LM70 at 100,000 hours and will operate 33 times as long as a metal halide lamp, materially reducing maintenance costs. Deploying the newest, and most powerful LED technology, this LED sports lighter is the new way to light sports facilities, freight yards, rail stations and other commercial/industrial areas.

We hope to meet some of our customers at the convention!
