Access Fixtures has developed and is now offering outdoor basketball court lighting packages enabling basketball games and practice to continue from daytime into the evening. Featuring 1000w pulse start metal halide sports lighter luminaires, the 3 packages are designed to provide the light required for either recreational, club or professional play. Access Fixtures 1000 watt pulse start metal halide sports lighters are 24% more energy efficient than standard metal halide and have longer life too. The luminaire is designed with a ballast box to keep the ballast away from the lamps heat increasing the ballasts life. The pole and luminaire locations are optimized for even light distribution and minimal shadows.

“The time spent on designing the 3 basketball court lighting packages was worthwhile resulting in cost effective packages at each level and excellent light distribution,” said CEO of Access Fixtures Steven Rothschild. He continued, “By using pulse start metal halide lamps we are able offer lighting with longer life, lower operating cost, and lower maintenance.”

Access Fixtures new basketball lighting packages offers multiple benefits including energy efficiency, increased bulb life, low maintenance, even light levels, and minimal shadows. Access Fixtures pulse start metal halide lamps offer superior color rendition even as the lamp ages and provide higher efficacy with 24% more lumens per watt than probe start. Each luminaire is positioned to reduce glare and interference with play. Photometric analysis is available for all 3 basketball court packages. Custom lighting packages are available too.
