WORCESTER, Mass., May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Access Fixtures, a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of commercial and sports lighting, is expanding its line of LED high bays by introducing a new high output LED high bay with a traditional form factor that includes an aluminum reflector. Available in 126w and 95w, the LED high bay uses up to 80 percent less energy compared to traditional light sources such as metal halide. High output LED high bays are ideal for energy-efficient indoor lighting. This industrial-style fixture is designed for warehouses, manufacturing facilities and retail stores.
“LED high bays are becoming increasingly prevalent in high output applications, a market previously dominated by metal halide and more recently by T5HO high bays,” said Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild. “As efficacy increases and prices continue to fall, LED luminaires are becoming the first choice for lighting commercial and industrial spaces.”
The new LED high bays with aluminum reflectors expand the line of LED high bays, which already includes LED high bays with acrylic reflectors and high bay designs that do not emulate traditional high bay form factors.
Rated for 100,000 hours, the LED high bays nearly eliminate maintenance associated with lamp replacement and installation. The 95w luminaire emits 13,293 light source lumens while the 126w emits 17,724 light source lumens. The high bay lights feature corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum housing with a bronze powdercoat finish over chromate conversion coating. The LED high bays are available in two Kelvin temperatures, 4300K and 5700K, and have the option to be dimmable. Access Fixtures LED high bays are assembled in the USA using domestic and imported parts.
