Access Fixtures has expanded its LED Retrofit product line to include Post-Top LED Retrofit Lampsfor acorn type globes used on decorative and antique street lights. The retrofit lamp replaces 70w t 175w HID lamps while delivering superior quality, reducing energy by as much as 75%. They are ideal for existing antique style and decorative street lights used across the USA on main streets, shopping centers, hotels, apartment complexes, and university campuses, as well as city parks. The lamp is DLC qualified as a high-performing LED product by the DesignLights Consortium. A case study at Virginia Commonwealth University details the performance. The university spent $135,900 to retrofit their post-top high pressure sodium lamps and ballasts with the Post-Top LED Retrofit lamps. They will save $863,438 over the life of the post-top LED retrofit lamps’ life, including reduced maintenance and lower energy consumption.
