Shipping Charges: Access Fixtures shipping charges are calculated based on the weight, distance traveled and type of shipping service you specify (ground, next day, second day). Freight calculations made by our web site are based on estimates. Orders may also be calculated by Access Fixtures based on exact order criteria. Clients will be notified of changes should the change be material.

F.O.B. Shipping Points
All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point. Shipping method is determined by the size and weight of each item. Items of differing size and/or weight may ship independently and by different methods even if ordered together. If items come from different warehouses of factories they will ship in separate shipments.
Unless otherwise stated, freight and shipping fees will be charged for shipments to anywhere in the contiguous United States using an Access Fixtures carrier of choice. If possible, items will be sent via a parcel service such as Federal Express or UPS. Items that are too large or too heavy will be sent by truck (LTL). Someone must be present to accept deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a facility with a dock designed to receive freight.
Ship to Locations
We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or export any orders. Orders for overseas shipments may be sent to a freight forwarder of your choice.
Any extra charges incurred for additional services, such as customer’s carrier or special handling by the carrier, must be paid by the consignee. Items back ordered from an order qualifying for prepaid shipping charges will be shipped prepaid. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier.
Even though Access Fixtures and its partners stock many of the products featured on the web site, many are custom and must be made. Additionally, to provide you with the best selection Access Fixtures ships from warehouses all over the country. Lead times will vary based on many different factors. Some warehouses stock items that can be shipped within 24 hours. Other items require a longer time such as 2-4 weeks. Small Parcel delivery usually takes between 1 and 6 business days after your order is shipped from the warehouse. For truck shipments (LTL), delivery usually takes between 3 and 10 days from when your order ships. Please note that we do not make appointments for commercial deliveries. If one is required you must notify Access Fixtures. Additional charges may apply.
Residential Truck Deliveries
If your shipment is to a residence and is a large item that is shipping by truck, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local terminal. The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you must inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write “Damaged Product” clearly on the sheet that the driver asks you to sign. This insures that if there is damage it will be easy to take care of the problem. If you are ordering a large item you may need a couple of people to help unload it. The driver will get the item(s) to the back of the truck. It is your responsibility from there. Some freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you may contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You are responsible for paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services agreed upon.
For expedited services such as 3-day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air, your order’s travel time is locked in to the given speed you select after the item leaves the warehouse. You should remember that the estimated Lead Time still applies before the item ships out. Be sure to consult the product’s Lead Time before you order with expedited shipping, and call us if you have any questions or concerns.
Should you have shipping damage, report damaged items immediately. Always inspect your package for damage when it is received. Damage claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery.
Please read our complete return policy on the Customer Service page. Materials may not be returned without our prior authorization. Access Fixtures will give full credit for merchandise returned due to defects subject to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. We will also issue full credit for errors by Access Fixtures provided your request is made within seven days of your receipt of the merchandise. Returns due to customer error or change in requirements may be subject to a 35% restocking charge; outbound freight not originally billed to the customer and return freight charges. Access Fixtures reserves the right to refuse return authorization requests.
