Using only 966 watts, the lighting system uses less than 25% of the energy used by comparable HID basketball lighting packages. Rated for 85% lumen maintenance at 100,000 hours, used five hours per evening seven nights per week the luminaires will provide light for an estimated 55 years. At 70+ CRI, the colors are crisp and the light is white. Additionally the luminaires are instant on – instant off, dimmable, and can be used with controls such as a high-performance integral photocontrol.

Access Fixtures’ new basketball court lighting package includes six poles, six Toshiba LED luminaires, and mounting hardware. 10kV (ANSI/IEEE C64.41.2) surge protectors are standard. High-performance integral photocontrols are optional. Luminaire life of 100,000 hours or more is based on operation in a 25 degrees C (77 degrees F) ambient environment. LED rated life is based on 9,000 hours of LED testing per LM-80-08, and projected values per IESNA TM21-11. The luminaires are CETLUS listed to applicable UL standards. DLC (DesignLightsTM Consortium) qualified, Lighting Facts® listed, IP66 rated, and come with a 5-year limited warranty by Toshiba LED Lighting Systems Division.
