T8 LED tube lights, or TLEDs, are quickly becoming more popular due to their improvements, energy savings, and price reductions. Access Fixtures recently announced a new line of TLEDs that include internal drivers with direct AC input. At $13.99 per lamp, these TLEDs are designed to be a cost-effective alternative to linear fluorescent tubes.
Rebates enable a quick return on investment when upgrading to LED products, which are typically available at a premium. Utilities have taken notice of the rising popular of TLEDs and are adding the lamps to their rebate programs as an incentive for customers to reduce their energy use. In general, the number of utilities that offer rebates for LED linear solutions increased by 220% in the last year. For TLEDs, there are 434 utilities that provide prescriptive or custom rebates.Shop T8 LED Bulbs
Rebates vary depending on a number of factors, including type of LED tube, and existing and potential solutions. It’s important to keep in mind that qualifications and eligibility of products are different for every rebate program. To learn about rebates in your area, research your program carefully to ensure your TLEDs meet the requirements. Some programs do not provide rebates for TLEDs, while others require customers to also install a new ballast. Rebate programs also tend to provide rebates for LED solutions on the latest DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Qualified Products list. Access Fixtures TLEDs are DLC listed. and may be eligible for rebates.
